Rath Yatra or Kang festival celebration in Bishnupriya Manipuri community.
Here is a little story. Kang festival is celebrated with the chariot or the Rath which is taken for a procession where people from different age groups join solemnly. However, the elderly people, despite having their keen interest some times they can not keep up the pace with others. So, often they come out of their houses to take a look and participate. That shows their profound interest for thecelebration yet for their age they may not join whole-heartedly but they still manage. They may feel tired , they may get exhausted soon, but they make sure their presence and devotion of their hearts. That is the beauty of customs and traditions, they bind people from generation to generation on the same thread for years!
