Bishnupriya Manipuris have been living peacefully and harmoniously with other communities and religious groups for centuries. Out of them the Bengali Hindus and also Hindus from other tribes and caste join in wholeheartedly in every religious occasions. Specially on the biggest occasions and festivals like Rash Leela , Rath Yatra , Durga Puja. Bishnupriya Manipuris are also invited in their festivals and occasions. There are some variations and differences in the rituals, yetpeople are respectful to each other’s traditions and beliefs. As great saint Sree Ramkrishna has “As many faiths , so many ways”. Eventually, this journey will end up in the point. All the lines will converge onto one point.
This mutual respect and trust between communities are for many years. The young generations are actually more aware about these things and they cautiously spread the message of friendship and solidarity among all. The active participation of people from other communities always makes the Bishnupriya Manipuris delighted and proud.
Hence, they have been successfully be able to live together with communities without having to fight and struggle with each other.
বিষ্ণুপ্রিয়া মণিপুরীরা অন্যান্য সম্প্রদায় এবং ধর্মীয় গোষ্ঠীর সাথে শান্তিপূর্ণভাবে এবং সৌহার্দ্যপূর্ণভাবে বসবাস করে আসছে। তাদের মধ্যে বাঙালি হিন্দু এবং অন্যান্য উপজাতি এবং বর্ণের হিন্দুরাও প্রতিটি ধর্মীয় অনুষ্ঠানে আন্তরিকভাবে যোগদান করে। বিশেষ করে রাস লীলা, রথযাত্রা, দুর্গাপূজার মতো বড় বড় অনুষ্ঠান এবং উৎসবে। বিষ্ণুপ্রিয়া মণিপুরীদেরও তাদের উৎসব এবং অনুষ্ঠানে আমন্ত্রণ জানানো হয়। আচার-অনুষ্ঠানে কিছু ভিন্নতা এবং পার্থক্য রয়েছে, তবুও মানুষ একে অপরের ঐতিহ্য এবং বিশ্বাসের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধাশীল। মহান সন্ত শ্রীরামকৃষ্ণের "যত ধর্ম, তত পথ"। অবশেষে, এই যাত্রা বিন্দুতে শেষ হবে। সমস্ত রেখা এক বিন্দুতে মিলিত হবে।
সম্প্রদায়ের মধ্যে এই পারস্পরিক শ্রদ্ধা এবং বিশ্বাস বহু বছর ধরে। তরুণ প্রজন্ম আসলে এই বিষয়গুলি সম্পর্কে আরও সচেতন এবং তারা সাবধানতার সাথে সকলের মধ্যে বন্ধুত্ব এবং সংহতির বার্তা ছড়িয়ে দেয়। অন্যান্য সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষের সক্রিয় অংশগ্রহণ সর্বদা বিষ্ণুপ্রিয়া মণিপুরীদের আনন্দিত এবং গর্বিত করে।
তাই , তারা এই অঞ্চলে দীর্ঘ দিন ধরে সৌহার্দ্য এবন সম্প্রীতির সাথেই অন্যান্য জাতিগোষ্ঠীর সাথে বসবাস করে আসছে।
