The intense urge of holding things tightly forever is not unbeknown to us. Since we are humans, our primordial nature towards possession has been the same since ancient times. Nevertheless, it had never worked neither it would be in future because, change is inevitable, change is imminent, change is the only constant in this world. Whosoever has accepted it, takes a step forward towards redemption, the rest will continue to suffer in the spiral of never suffering. Human suffering is the Sleep, perhaps the most astonishing part of human life. For a short period of time, we forget all our pains, traumas, sufferings even our goals and desires. However, we often like fall asleep in order to escape from reality, the harsh and dreadful reality we are part of. Sleep is itself a fascinating experience. Every time we sleep our eyes shut and we get detached from the physical world. In sleep, we experience dreams also. Our subconscious mind reflects through our dreams; sometimes we enjoy beautiful dreams and wake up with a smile. On the contrary, if the dreams are perilous it leaves our heart thumping in the morning. Nevertheless, dreams are usually pleasant and sleep is also a portal to get immersed into a different realm of existence. However, more than sleep , these days I am craving for “Deep-sleep” where the experience of self, the ego , the memories everything disappears like magic! The sense of peace can be derived from Deep Sleep is actually blissful and ethereal. I often wonder, in this physical world how hard try to control things, attain things that are so transient but end of the day we all fall for the need of the blankness, silence of mind. The masters say, God can be found in silence and deep sleep is just a glimpse of the eternal state, where nothing exists, not even mind, memories , ego! Everything is dissolved, everything is silent and the only thing exists is peace, interrupted serenade of consciousness. Nothing else.
